Careys was started in 1957 by Paul and Joyce Carey. Through the good and bad, they have managed to be around for over 64 Years. Through the years, they have had such lines as Triumph, BSA, Norton, Rickman, Bultaco, and Harley-Davidson. In 1963 they took on Yamaha. Paul and Joyce's daughter and son-in-law - Caron and Brad Boswell continued to run Carey's Cycle Dealership for years after Paul and Joyce Carey passed away. As the industry changed and the mom-and-pop stores saw the effect, they decided to sell the Yamaha Brand. Their son-in-law Bear (Wayne Worton) and daughter Mandie took over the service dept. Bear is a certified Yamaha Mechanic working on all makes and models. He brings 15+ years of service to the industry. Bear will be moving the Service Dept. to West Haven.
